Jess is a Masters student in Psychology at the University of Canterbury, working towards a thesis on two brief interventions addressing alcohol craving and alcohol attention bias in young adult binge drinkers.

She works part-time as a teaching assistant, and as a research assistant for the TECKS project (Teacher Education Core Knowledge and Skills) which collates and reviews experimental evidence on effective teaching practices.
