The Huntington’s disease clinic for Waitaha Canterbury patients, runs regularly throughout the year with Prof Tim Anderson/Dr Campbell Le Heron and the Huntington’s Disease Service Coordinator for Waitaha Canterbury, Rochelle Kingi.
To access the Huntington’s Disease Clinic, a referral from a GP, a medical specialist or the Huntington’s Disease Service Coordinator is required. Following this, any further appointments can be made by contacting Rochelle Kingi.
Rochelle Kingi Huntington’s Disease Service Coordinator: Rochelle works with individuals and families living with HD in the community. This role is vital to ensuring that people living with HD remain healthy and living independently for as long as possible. Regular contact ensures that timely access to medical, social or government supports occurs. Alongside this, Rochelle can also support with EPOA/POA and Advanced Care Planning.
