Working Title: Imaging cerebral tau accumulation and cerebral blood flow in Parkinson’s disease using positron emission tomography

It is anticipated that the work undertaken in this thesis will provide (1) novel insight into the contribution that Alzheimer pathology plays in the development of cognitive decline and the development of dementia in PD, and (2) determine if early phase tau imaging provides an interpretable measure of blood flow/metabolism and whether this is disrupted in PD.
