For Brain Awareness Month we're giving away Brains!

Here at the New Zealand Brain Research Institute, we're helping raise awareness of the one in five New Zealander's who live with a neurological condition.

Based in Christchurch, we improve brain-health through research, education and clinical practice. Our work includes research into the effects and treatments for New Zealand’s most common brain disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, dementia, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s and multiple sclerosis.

Grow your own brain flower

Celosia plants produce simple oval leaves that are arranged alternately along the stem and often are borne on a reddish petiole (leafstalk).

The herbaceous plants grow some 23–81 cm (9–32 inches) in height, depending on the variety.

The small flowers have colourful bracts and are densely arranged in showy inflorescences. They produce large amounts of seeds.

Make sure to include your postal address and we will post your Celosia brain flower seeds direct to you.
